Union/Strike Depictions in Animated Media

In addition to writing new stuff, I also want to use this substack to repost/archive some of the more chunkier research instagram posts I’ve posted in the past. My goal in this is to make these posts easier for folks to search, share and read. I originally posted this on my instagram on Nov. 2, 2023.

“Trying to collect (good and bad) depictions of labor in animated things, which at this point is just tv. Let me know if I missed one. When I have the energy, I'd like to go into depth talking about how each episode depicts labor, since a few are quite dubious. It's really helpful that all the strike episodes are mostly just called "The Strike" episode.“
