Financial Core and the 1982 Animation Guild strike
sometimes the smallest, weirdest, least-sexiest contract labor jargon can cause the most damage

Additional notes:
From what I can gather, FiCore no longer exists as an option in the Animation Guild. SAG-AFTRA and WGA have enough power/resources in their fields to prohibit their members from taking nonunion jobs while still having a large pool of work for them to choose from, but that's not the case with TAG after the 80s. It’s no longer sustainable for TAG to restrict its workers to just union work because the union pool of work available is so limited, ephermal, and doesnt pay enough for many.
